Rue La La is a memebership only website, that acts like an online sample sale.
There is a new designer 'boutique' that opens every 1-3 days, and offers merchandise for deeply discounted sample sale prices.
Each boutique is auction style, like ebay, in that it is only 0pen for a few days max, with a running timer that counts down the time until the boutique closes.
They also have the option to not only have emails sent reminding you of upcoming auctions, but also to have a TEXT MESSAGE sent to your phone the minute the auction starts, so that you don't miss a thing. You can select your favorite boutique and preview the merchandise as well.
Recent auctions include BCBG Max Azria, Prada, Nicole Miller, Fendi, Anabella Fiorento.
Also a plus- Rue La La isn't limited to only womens clothing. They also have menswear, bedding, kitchen ware, and home goods.
So how do you get a membership?
A friend has to reccomend you (and if you reccomend someone once you are in, you get a $10 credit to your account when a new referred member makes their first purchase), OR you can put your name on the waiting list.
